Small groups are all about helping you become like Christ in this world. Most meet weekly on-campus or in the home of a group member. Each Hope Group enables you to connect with friends, group leaders, or someone new on this faith journey. Hope groups also provide authentic opportunities for growing in your understanding of God's Word and how to make real-life applications of God's truth. The Senior Adult Ministry program at LHC, JOY Ministries (or, Just Older Youth), is a vital part of our church with new and expanding opportunities for involvement of those who are 55 and older. This growing ministry provides Christ-centered activities addressing the spiritual, social, physical and educational needs of men and women in the “second half of life.” This rapidly growing segment of our church family includes retirees, grandparents, people with adult children, couples, singles and widows/widowers, all of whom desire to be productive servants of Christ. The Senior Adult Ministry program includes classes, studies, trips, luncheons, dinners, and volunteer activities. All activities provide opportunities for Christian fellowship and service.
